St Peter's Church, Rochester Church

This modern church a short distance from Rochester's historic High Street was designed by architect John Wells Thorpe (1928-2019) and opened in 1973. This new building replaced a Victorian church designed by Ewan Christian - also called St. Peter's - which was located a few streets away and was demolished in 1973. Text by Rob Baker
